Following the latest Covid-19 restrictions announced by the Government of Saskatchewan we will be closing for regular operations November 27, 2020.
 
We will be offering extensions and credits for Memberships, Programs, and Leagues. Details of each will be announced along with our reopening.
 
Please email the club if you have any questions as we will be checking emails throughout the closure. We request that you do not call the club, or leave voicemails, as we will not be monitoring the phone.

Dear Members and Non-Members,
 
As Fall approaches we are excited to offer Junior and Adult programs and welcome back members and non-members for court bookings, lessons, leagues, etc. LITC will look different this year as we have implemented policies and procedures to provide a safe and controlled environment for all visitors and staff of the club. In addition to these procedures and additional cleaning, all staff and coaches will be wearing masks while inside the clubhouse, coaches may remove masks while on courts.
 
We ask that all members, non-members, program participants and guests of the club wear a mask while in the clubhouse, which can then be removed while on the courts. The clubhouse is small and we cannot ensure physical distancing can be maintained at all times. Please help us keep Lakewood Indoor Tennis Centre as safe and comfortable as possible for everyone.
 
Below is a list of the new procedures that will be implemented in the club starting August 29, 2020.  
 
Club Policies and Procedures

1. Please move quickly through the clubhouse when entering and exiting the courts.
2. Maintain social distancing whenever possible.
3. Make use of the hand sanitizer provided.
4. Maximum of 1-2 people between the air-lock doors at one time.
5. Be patient and respectful at all times.
6. Locker rooms and showers are closed at this time.
7. Our water dispenser is not available.
8. Programs will not over lap and have been shortened by 15 minutes to reduce traffic in the clubhouse.
9. The washrooms are available for an emergency, (maximum of 2 people at one time) but we encourage everyone not to use them.

 
Player Responsibilities

1. Players must have their own racquet and balls.
2. Bring your own water bottle.
3. Please come dressed and ready to play, with equipment and items you need in your tennis bag.

 
Entering the club

1. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booking or class.
2. Only players and program participants should enter the club whenever possible. Unfortunately no spectators at this time.
3. Please remove all outdoor footwear and proceed quickly and directly onto the courts.
4. Our coat rack is now located at the baseline of court 1.
5. Maintain social distancing when passing through the airlock doors, 1-2 people maximum unless from the same household.

 
Exiting the club

1. Please make use of the hand sanitizer provided as you leave the courts.
2. Maintain social distancing when passing through the airlock doors, 1-2 people maximum unless from the same household.
3. Please follow the arrows to avoid crossing paths with those entering the club.

Dear Members and Non-Members,

Following the announcement from Saskatchewan Health Authority, masks are mandatory inside Lakewood Indoor Tennis Centre effective November 6, 2020. As per the Indoor Mandatory Masking Requirements masks must be worn at all times except while participating in physical exertion. Please have your mask on before entering the building and wear it at all times in the clubhouse and while on Court 1. Following your booking, please put your mask back on immediately when you return to court 1.

Thank you to everyone who has read and followed the new policies and procedures until this point. I have been incredibly happy with the response and respect to the rules shown by almost everyone that has visited the club.

3. We will have a registration desk outside for the first week of programs should parents have any questions.
4. Proceed quickly and directly onto the courts.
5. Maintain social distancing when passing through the airlock doors, 1-2 people maximum unless from the same household.

 
Exiting the club

1. Please make use of the hand sanitizer provided as you leave the courts.
2. Maintain social distancing when passing through the airlock doors, 1-2 people maximum unless from the same household.
3. Please leave the clubhouse quickly following your class. If you have to wait for your ride, please do so outside.

We are excited to be re-opening! As we re-open there are a few important changes and announcements for everyone to be aware of.

Procedural Changes:

1. We have added procedures to increase the safety of those visiting the club. Please watch the video above before arriving at the club
2. We will have set booking times of 60 or 90 minutes throughout the day. You can see booking availability by logging into your account through our website
3. All court bookings must be made in advance and include all players. We ask that all players have Club Credit on their account or a credit card on file to eliminate transactions at the desk
4. Drop-ins will not be accepted at this time

Updated Court Booking/Membership Program:

1. Log in through the top right corner of our website to see your updated account info
2. Club Credit can now be used on anything in our club (i.e. Court, Membership, Drinks, etc.)
3. Court availability is available, with online booking coming soon
4. Any amounts owing to the club by members as of March 15 have been incorporated into the calculation of your new Club Credit balance

Program Cancellation Credits:

1. All program participants that had their session cancelled in March have Club Credit on their account for the remaining value of the lesson. This Club Credit can be used to purchase anything in the club
2. We plan to restart our junior and adult programming again in the Fall
3. We will not be offering Summer Camps this year

Expired/Extended Memberships:

1. Memberships that have expired since March 15, have received Club Credit for the remaining value of the membership applied to your account
2. Memberships that did not expire have been paused and will resume September 1, 2020
3. Unused league fees have also been applied to your Club Credit account

Summer Plans:

1. We expect the new procedures to be in place throughout the Summer and may be modified in the Fall
2. We will only be charging Court Fees, no extra charge for a Guest or Visitor Pass
3. Our reduced Summer Hours can be found here

 
Our re-opening date is Monday July 13, 2020, we will take bookings by phone or email starting Friday July 10, 2020

We will be closed on Friday April 19 for the Good Friday statutory holiday and open regular hours Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21 (9:00 am-8:00 pm)

Registration is now open for our Spring Junior and Adult Tennis Programs which run April 29-June 22. We can process your registration over the phone at 306-955-2226, in person at the Front Desk, or online.
