Program policies and procedures

We are excited for the start of our programs and believe the policies and procedures we have put in place will provide a safe and controlled environment for all program participants. In addition to these procedures and additional cleaning, all staff and coaches will be wearing masks while inside the clubhouse, coaches may remove masks while on courts.
 
We ask that all members, non-members, program participants and guests of the club wear a mask while in the clubhouse, which can then be removed while on the courts. The clubhouse is small and we cannot ensure physical distancing can be maintained at all times. Please help us keep Lakewood Indoor Tennis Centre as safe and comfortable as possible for everyone.
 
Please follow the Junior Program or Adult Program link to fill out our waiver form 24 hours before your first class.
 
Below is a list of the new procedures that will be implemented in the club starting August 29, 2020, also a list of the procedures that have been in place since we reopened in July.
 
Program Participants Responsibilities

1. Players must have their own racquet.
2. Bring your own water bottle.
3. Bring only what you need, as we no longer have space for jackets, bags, etc.
4. Maintain social distancing whenever possible.
5. Make use of the hand sanitizer provided.
6. Be patient and respectful at all times.

 
Entering the club

1. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booking or class.
2. Only players and program participants should enter the club whenever possible. Unfortunately no spectators at this time.
3. We will have a registration desk outside for the first week of programs should parents have any questions.
4. Proceed quickly and directly onto the courts.
5. Maintain social distancing when passing through the airlock doors, 1-2 people maximum unless from the same household.

 
Exiting the club

1. Please make use of the hand sanitizer provided as you leave the courts.
2. Maintain social distancing when passing through the airlock doors, 1-2 people maximum unless from the same household.
3. Please leave the clubhouse quickly following your class. If you have to wait for your ride, please do so outside.

 
Club Policies and Procedures

1. Locker rooms and showers are closed at this time
2. The washrooms are available for an emergency, but we encourage everyone not to use them
3. Our water dispenser is not available
4. Programs will not over lap and have been shortened by 15 minutes to reduce traffic in the clubhouse
5. Program cancellations will be refunded via Club Credit only. No make-up dates or cash refunds.

 
We will continue to monitor the situation in the club and community and will update our policies and procedures as necessary.
