Lessons for all Ages
Whether your child is holding a racquet for the first time or already competing at provincial or national tournaments, LITC has the perfect program for them. Scroll below for program descriptions.
Program Descriptions
- Red Tennis: Players age 5-7 will learn all the fundamentals of tennis, with a focus on rallying and serving. Tennis rules and etiquette are also introduced. New players will enter the class in Red Tennis 1, while returning players may be grouped into a Red Tennis 2 class or evaluated individually on a Red Tennis 2 Report Card. Players will learn, play and compete on a Tennis Canada-regulated Red-size court with a Stage 1 Red tennis ball.
- Orange Tennis: Players age 8-12 will learn all the fundamentals of tennis, with a focus on rallying, serving, and playing at net. Tennis rules, scoring, and etiquette are also introduced. Players will learn, play and compete on a Tennis Canada-regulated Orange-size court with a Stage 2 Orange tennis ball.
- Green Tennis: Players age 13-17 will learn all the fundamentals of tennis, with a focus on rallying, serving, and playing at net. Tennis rules, scoring, and etiquette are also introduced. Players will learn, play and compete on a Tennis Canada-regulated full-size court with a Stage 3 Green tennis ball.
Program cancellations will be refunded via Club Credit or assigned make up dates at discretion of Tennis Director
