Martin Pruzinkiewicz, Tennis Canada Certified Coach 1
Hello, I'm Martin, a part-time instructor here at Lakewood. I have been instructing at the club since 2006 and have been a member for much longer. I started learning tennis in 1999 and played tennis competitively as a junior from 2002 to 2008. To this day I still love tennis and play as often as I can. The technical aspect of the game is my favourite component. I feel these is nothing more satisfying than hitting the ball and hearing the nice crunch that comes with hitting a solid shot. When I teach I try to convey this drive for hitting the best shots to the students. For that reason, I like to focus on technique when giving lessons. Outside of tennis, my goal is to become a life sciences researcher.
