LITC Singles Box League Rules

 

  • Summer Box League matches may be played outdoors.
  • Please ensure your scores are recorded in the club so they can be updated online
  • Please book sufficient court time to complete your match
  • (1.5 hours is recommended).
    •
  • All matches are 2/3 sets, unless you both agree to play full advantage, all matches are played with NO add scoring. You play sudden death at “Deuce” , receiver having choice of side.
  • 12 point tie breaker in each set.
    •
  • Both participants must provide new balls for each match. The winner of the match will be awarded the unused balls while the loser will keep the used balls.
  • Matches must be completed within the days provided by the league.
  • A minimum of 50% of your matches must be completed each round or you would not be considered for futures league.
  • Premium All In members do not pay for court fees.
  • Non-Prime Time All In members pay no court fees during Non-Prime Time hours; however, will pay regular court fees during Prime Time hours.
  • Non-members must pay guest fees on top of regular court fees.
  • Honor system is in place as players are responsible to call their own lines. Please play fair.
  • Scores are to be recorded on the box league sheets posted on the board in the club house.
    • Please keep in mind this league is designed to promote competition, social interaction and, most importantly, fun for all participants.

 

LITC main purpose is to provide a service to the members of the league where people can meet and have close competitive game of tennis. We reserve the right to place new league members and current members of the league in the box that we feel is most suitable to the member skills and abilities.
